LIT Coalition

What a great question! We want to send a shout out to Lake Hills Church and Shoreline Christian Center who joined the Lit Coalition this semester, welcome fellow laborers in Christ!

Last semester different churches around the city worked together to minister to students through sports, acts of service, nights of worship and more. This semester we are working with even more ACC students to launch LIT Sports, an avenue to merge Jesus, Sports and Fellowship all together. We are also increasing our presence on campus by serving students free coffee, snow cones, scantrons (and anything else we can get donated to us) on a weekly basis. We have also partnered with Campus Renewal Ministries at UT and will be doing a united night of prayer at the Campus House of Prayer in April.

In addition to creating more avenues to plug ACC students into what our churches have to offer, we are also in the beginning stages of planning the cities first ever incoming freshman ACC retreat this summer. Northern Path ministries is leading the charge in this exciting new endeavor and we can't wait to see what God will do with this!

Making plans but following Christ

Great are a mans plans, right? We know none of this means anything without Jesus being in the center of it. Our ACC Coalition leadership team continues to meet monthly to wrestle with where God wants us to be and to seek him in prayer. The truth is we don't really have the resources to do anything we have planned but we have faith that this is what God is calling us to and He will provide!

If you want to join the Lit Coalition of Churches and Students we'd love to have you! God has provided us a handful of VERY faithful couples who have generously provided for our needs to get us to where we are today, Praise Jesus! We are asking Jesus to add the resources and church support we need to reach all 8 campuses and 40,000+ students. We believe this can happen and we want you to be apart of it.
